A+ Distributors are denoted by being secured with a Y clamp as opposed to the pinch clamp on a A-series

In addition they have a wide keyway drive as opposed to a nerrow keyway on A-Series

1 . Mini Models from 1980 onwards are fitted with the A+ Engine and require a 59D Type Distributor .
This is distinguished by a Shorter shaft than the 45D and a wider dog Drive .
The Distributor is also held in with a Y clamp rather than the early clamp with a Pinch Bolt

2. Early Mini A+ Models are fitted with a Standard 3 Ohm coil, cars from 1982 onwards will require a Ballast Coil

3. Leads are available in all Red, Blue . Black , Yellow , White, Green and Silver.
