Our kits are all you need to convert from standard points to a fully electronically controlled Ignition system. The AccuSpark Module contains a microprocessor that continually adjusts dwell time depending on RPM giving a perfect duration spark all the time .
Designed to work with a standard points coil but to fully unlock the potential of your motor add one of our RED or BLUE sports coils

    FORD ESCORT MK1 and MKII

    The Ford Escort was mainly fitted with Fords small X=flow OHV engine
    The Escort is also fitted with the larger Pinto OHV engine and Fords high performance Twin Cam engine

    Ford used severel Distributors in the same model so care should be taken to select the correct unit .
    In the Escort Ford mainly used the Motorcraft and Bosch ocassionally Lucas but aftermartket distributors are nearly always
    Lucas based .

    1. Bosch : These are distinguised by normally having a brown cap and have the condensor on the outside of distributor body .
    2. Motorcraft/Fomoco. It has a large black cap compared to body and a sprung rotor arm
